The 2012 PGA Merchandise Show, held January 26-28, 2011, will welcome some 1,000 top golf companies and brands and more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world to the industry’s 59th annual global summit for the business of golf. Outdoor Demo Day, the world’s largest professional golf testing event, tees off the Show on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Orange County National Golf Center. During Show days, PGA Professionals, retailers and industry leaders will uncover the latest trends, source the newest golf merchandise, test the latest equipment, best golf instruction, learn proven business best practices, network among peers and move forward the business of the game. The show will be held in the Orange County Convention Center ~ 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 26-27; and 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Jan. 28. For more information, visit www.pgashow.com.

The PGA Show held , has evolved into comprehensive multi-purpose business platform since its roots in parking lots back in 1954. In addition to nearly 1000+ vendors representing every business sector of golf from market leaders to start-up companies, golf industry leaders will address key issues.

The first PGA Merchandise Show was held in 1954 when a handful of golf merchandisers assembled in the PGA National Golf Club parking lot during a series of PGA winter tournaments. From those humble beginnings, it’s grown into the the world’s largest and most influential golf business event.

The show may be described and one of the top trade shows in the United States but Classic Swing has been voted One of Golf Magazine’s Top 25 Golf Schools in America for three years in a row.
