This is your opportunity to work with one of the great minds and communicators in the game of golf. Ted’s success, as a player and teacher, allows him to work with the stars on the PGA Tour one day, and the beginner, intermediate, or advanced player the next. It is truly a golfing experience you do not want to miss. Ted came to the golf business after completing his studies at the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. As a two sport scholarship athlete, he played baseball and basketball while in college. Ted gave his first golf lesson in 1989, started the Classic Swing Golf School in 1992, and has had a passion for teaching golf ever since. He is the lead instructor in 90% of the three day golf schools throughout the year. Ted also gives countless private lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced recreational golfers, aspiring junior golfers, and playing professionals. He even boasts a student with PGA Tour tournament experience. Ted and his wife, Ginger, have five children; Austin, Lauren, Callie, Carly & Jake. His son Austin is currently a scholarship golfer at Francis Marion University.

Eddie, a native of Missouri, moved to Myrtle Beach from Lake of the Ozarks in 1999 to pursue a career in golf. He attended the Golf Academy of America where he earned an Associate of Applied Business Degree and was valedictorian of his 2001 class. He began teaching for the Classic Swing Golf School in 2002 and has served as Junior Golf Director and Elderhostel Director. He currently acts as Head Instructor. Eddie and his wife, Karen, have four children; Joe, Nicky, Brandy, and Courtney. They also have four wonderful grandchildren; Carson, Jackson, Marshall, and Abi.

Paige attended Coastal Carolina University (Myrtle Beach, SC) on a golf scholarship, where she was named the 2002 Big South Conference Player of the Year and received medalist honors at the 2002 Big South Conference Championships. Paige graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Following commencement, Paige began work on her Masters of Business Administration. She completed and received her MBA from Winthrop University in 2004. She began teaching at Classic Swing Golf School in 2003. She and her husband, Rob, now own their own real estate company, but Paige still loves to play golf and teach at the Classic Swing Golf School. Paige has obtained Class ‘A’ PGA status and was inducted into the PGA of America in May 2008. Paige and Rob have three beautiful daughters, Emily, Abby, and Anna.

Brian is a lifelong native of South Carolina. He moved to the Grand Strand in 1987 during his middle school years so he is very familiar and knowledgeable with all things Myrtle Beach. Brian attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration in 1996. Brian was also a pitcher for the Gamecocks baseball team during his four years in Columbia. He came to work for the Classic Swing Golf School to manage operations immediately following his graduation from USC. In 2004, Brian returned to school in the evenings to work on his Masters of Business Administration. He earned his MBA from Winthrop University in 2006. Brian and his wife, Beth, have two children, Ellyn and Owen.

Stefany King, from Bel Air, Maryland, has been a part of the Classic Swing Golf School team since 2015. She attended the University of Mount Olive on a golf scholarship, and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. Stefany is the Director of Junior Golf and the Lead Instructor for the Ladies Only Golf Schools. She obtained her Class A LPGA status in 2018. When Stefany is not teaching, she loves traveling and spending time at the beach.

Karsten Kenley is a true Myrtle Beach, South Carolina native as he was born and raised on the Grand Strand. He joined the Classic Swing Golf School teaching staff in 2021. Karsten was introduced to the game of golf at a young age by his father who was a PGA Member, and with the guidance of Classic Swing and his instructor Ted Frick, he was able to enjoy a successful high school and college golf career. Karsten attended Limestone College on a golf scholarship, and he graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. When Karsten is not teaching, he enjoys playing golf, traveling to Disney, and spending time with his family.
