Classic Swing Golf School – How to take a golf lesson

Good afternoon to everyone from Classic Swing Golf School in Myrtle Beach!  Did you ever wonder what advice Golf Instructors would give future students?  Before your lesson (at Classic Swing), read the comments below from some of the best PGA pros:

(From the NYTimes.com)

Be on time. Better yet, be early.

This may sound overly simple, but if you don’t arrive early enough to warm up, relax and clear your head, you probably won’t learn as much.

Don’t tell the instructor what’s wrong with your swing.  A good instructor will know what’s wrong with your swing after you’ve hit a few balls.

Do tell the pro what’s been going wrong.  There is a big difference between telling the instructor what’s wrong with your swing and what has been happening to your golf ball.

Listen.  A good teacher will listen to you and make a plan for helping you, but you have to hear the message and un understand the solution before it will work.

Be open to new ideas.  Try with an open mind.

Be honest with your teacher.  Especially in how much you practice

Do your homework before selecting a Golf School.  You need to choose Classic Swing!

Finally, set reachable goals.  One lesson will not overhaul your game.
