This is your opportunity to work with one of the great minds and communicators in the game of golf. Ted’s success, as a player and teacher, allows him to work with the stars on the PGA Tour one day, and the beginner, intermediate, or advanced player the next. It is truly a golfing experience you do not want to miss. Ted came to the golf business after completing his studies at the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. As a two sport scholarship athlete, he played baseball and basketball while in college. Ted gave his first golf lesson in 1989, started the Classic Swing Golf School in 1992, and has had a passion for teaching golf ever since. He is the lead instructor in 90% of the three day golf schools throughout the year. Ted also gives countless private lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced recreational golfers, aspiring junior golfers, and playing professionals. He even boasts a student with PGA Tour tournament experience. Ted and his wife, Ginger, have five children; Austin, Lauren, Callie, Carly & Jake. His son Austin is currently a scholarship golfer at Francis Marion University.

Hometown: Hartville, MO
Eddie, a native of Missouri, moved to Myrtle Beach from Lake of the Ozarks in 1999 to pursue a career in golf. He attended the Golf Academy of America where he earned an Associate of Applied Business Degree and was valedictorian of his 2001 class. He began teaching for the Classic Swing Golf School in 2002 and has served as Junior Golf Director and Elderhostel Director. He currently acts as Head Instructor. Eddie and his wife, Karen, have four children; Joe, Nicky, Brandy, and Courtney. They also have three wonderful grandchildren; Carson, Jackson, and Marshall.

Hometown: Surrey, England
Natalie began her golfing career in Surrey, England at the age of 13. She quickly climbed the junior national ranks and earned a golf scholarship to Coastal Carolina University (Myrtle Beach, SC). She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree with a focus in Sport and Recreation for Disadvantaged Children in 2005. Natalie helped lead the CCU Chanticleers in a climb up the national rankings, and she earned MVP honors in 2004. Natalie was also a three-time All-Big South Conference honoree. Possessing a passion for teaching and helping others, Natalie joined the Classic Swing Golf School staff in 2006. Natalie is the lead instructor for all of the Ladies Only Schools and extremely active with all schools, junior camps and clinics. All of our students thoroughly enjoy their time with Natalie and love her accent.

Matt has been teaching golf at the Classic Swing Golf School since 2007. He is now a seasoned veteran who all of the students love spending time with due to his wonderful communication and people skills. He is currently enrolled in the PGA education program and working toward becoming a Class ‘A’ PGA Member. Matt has extensive playing experience on both the amateur tour and professional mini tour circuits. Away from the golf course, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors and traveling.

Hometown: Binghamton, NY
Mark is a Class ‘A’ PGA Member who began teaching at the Classic Swing Golf School in 2005. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC and holds Hospitality Certification in Customer Relations and Promotions. Mark tested his game on the mini tours before turning his focus to teaching golf. He enjoys spending time with his son Noah and umpiring little league baseball when he is away from the golf course.

Paige attended Coastal Carolina University (Myrtle Beach, SC) on a golf scholarship, where she was named the 2002 Big South Conference Player of the Year and received medalist honors at the 2002 Big South Conference Championships. Paige graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Following commencement, Paige began work on her Masters of Business Administration. She completed and received her MBA from Winthrop University in 2004. She began teaching at Classic Swing Golf School in 2003. She and her husband, Rob, now own their own real estate company, but Paige still loves to play golf and teach at the Classic Swing. Paige has obtained Class ‘A’ PGA status and was inducted into the PGA of America in May 2008. Paige and Rob have three beautiful daughters, Emily, Abby, and Anna.

Joel has been working in the golf industry for more than ten years. He has been focused on teaching since 2010, and began sharing his talents at the Classic Swing Golf School in 2011. He gained valuable experience while working at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL where he lived for two years. Joel holds an Associate of Applied Business Degree from the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach where he completed his studies in 2007. He also holds distinguished certification in golf club repair and golf club fitting. When Joel is not teaching at Classic Swing Golf School, he is a regular competitor on the professional mini tours.

Hometown: Thomasville, NC
Justin loves playing the game of golf and has had a golf club in his hand for the majority of his life. He became interested in teaching the game several years ago, and luckily, the Classic Swing Golf School had a teaching position open in 2012 that he was able to fill. Justin is an authorized instructor (G.S.E.B.) of The Golfing Machine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and an Audio Engineering degree from Full Sail University. Justin still plays professionally on the mini tours in the Carolinas when he is not teaching at Classic Swing Golf School.

Hometown: Surfside Beach, SC
Brian is a lifelong native of South Carolina. He moved to the Grand Strand in 1987 during his middle school years so he is very familiar and knowledgeable with all things Myrtle Beach. Brian attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration in 1996. Brian was also a pitcher for the Gamecocks baseball team during his four years in Columbia. He came to work for the Classic Swing Golf School to manage operations immediately following his graduation from USC. In 2004, Brian returned to school in the evenings to work on his Masters of Business Administration. He earned his MBA from Winthrop University in 2006. Brian and his wife, Beth, have two children, Ellyn and Owen.

Hometown: Frederick, MD
Royce came on board at the Classic Swing Golf School in 2001 when he began making golf clubs. He learned under several other experienced club makers that were on staff at that time. Since 2001, Royce has earned Class ‘A’ Clubmaker status through the Professional Clubmakers Society (PCS), as well as, Master Clubmaker honors from Golfworks. Royce oversees all aspects of the custom clubs division of Classic Swing Golf School as the Shop Manager. He is a master technician that is very meticulous with his work. Royce is a retiree of the United States Postal Service and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, Marguerite, love animals and have many dogs, turtles, birds, and cats that they affectionately refer to as their “kids.”

Bob and his wife, Beverly, moved to the Myrtle Beach area from New York in 2004. Shortly after that, he found himself working at the Classic Swing Golf School as a clubmaker. With a background in carpentry, Bob is very good working with his hands and meticulous about his work. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and at one time, along with his wife, owned a bus company. Bob enjoys living in Myrtle Beach, taking advantage of its beautiful weather and golf courses, and maintaining a beautiful lawn.
